Whiskey Butter Broccoli

It's Broccoli season! What better time to elevate this much loved summer veg with a little of our Bushmills Whiskey Barrel Aged White Condiment! Giving a little sweet acidity with a touch of woody smokiness, this recipe is sure to be a hit during the bank holiday weekend. Of course we also SMOTHERED it in parmesan.
 Ingredients:
  • 400 g tenderstem broccoli or broccolini 
  • 2 tbsp butter 
  • 1 tbsp whiskey-aged white balsamic 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • Salt & pepper 
  • Parmesan cheese
Method: 
  1. Drizzle broccoli with olive oil and salt, place on a baking tray and cook until roasted and charred (about 10-15 mins)
  2. Melt butter with balsamic and garlic; cook until foaming. 
  3. Toss broccolini in balsamic butter, sprinkle with lots of parmesan, and serve warm.
