Burren Balsamics stemmed from a desire to create an array of flavours which could be used as part of any recipe, to produce not just a luxury dressing, but a store cupboard essential.
Situated in County Armagh in the heart of the orchard county, we strive to use as many local ingredients as possible. Only whole fruit is included in the making of our vinegar, and never from concentrate, ensuring the distinctive, rich, wholesome taste.

The company was founded in 2015 by Susie, who is a trained chef with 30 years experience in the catering industry. She was asked to take a stall for a Marie Curie charity event, and having always wanted to try new ideas, she set about experimenting with infused vinegars. They were met with such delight and enthusiasm that Burren Balsamics was founded.
2 years later, and Burren Balsamics is a supplier to a 5 star hotel group, has worked with TV and radio chef Paula McIntyre, and is stocked in stores across the UK and Ireland.
The versatility of these products is wide ranging – add them to a marinade, pour a generous slug into a casserole or stew, drizzle into a fruit crumble or pour some over roasting veggies. Check out the individual flavours for some recipe ideas!

I do not use flour to thicken the sauces, I prefer to soak up the juices with delicious potatoes!
These unique products use only whole fruit with no flavourings or fruit concentrates. All the ingredients are locally sourced and are of the highest quality from carefully selected suppliers.
